Hellhole covered a lot of ground for a release this short, with the two sides acting as polar opposites. Side A is three tracks (“I”, “II”, “III”) of aggressive, pounding fast hardcore, with no song breaking the 1-minute mark. Side B is one long dirge (“Downers”), nearly five minutes of sludgy slow-tempo hardcore, feedback, and stretched-out screams.
